NGO KRAJINA – 10 YEARS ANNIVERSARY

It gives us grate honor to say that non-government Organization NGO Krajina Business
Incubator Banja Luka celebrated a very important jubilee.
During 4th International Organic Certification , our Organization celebrated
10th anniversary, 10 years of active work. On this occasion Solemn Academy was held
in Banja Luka.
On that occasion we expressed our appreciation to everyone that supported
us in our work and efforts: to Government of Republic of Srpska, Ministries, City
and Municipal partners, to numerous International Institutions with whom we had
brilliant cooperation and to all our friends and collaborators.
During first 10 years NGO Krajina Business Incubator Banja Luka went through
a path that was not easy, but that was considered as a grate challenge by all members
of this Organization.
It is important to say, that a decade of tradition in work is behind us,
numerous project implemented together with domestic and International Institutions.
Also our services were used by 18.000 users. We tried to timely recognize
their needs and response to them on correct manner.
The Organization itself had to go through path of development with small steps and
face many problems, beginning with lack of office space and equipment, until it
finally developed into established Organization that is active on large space of
RS/BIH.
Gradually we gained confidence and support from relevant domestic and International
Institutions. We were active on many fields: Civil Society development,
institutional capacity strengthening, introduction of projects for employment of
most endangered population categories (returnees, refugees and domicile population),
development and linkage of agriculture and tourism in RS/BIH in one unified concept
“EKO Village” which definitely had impact on economy development during that period.
Today we are an active Organization that implements its activities on whole area
of RS/BIH. We are working on linking Municipalities form RS/BIH and Republic of
Serbia in area of basin of river Drina in order to strengthen and put to better
use all economy and tourist capacities in these areas.
The Project “establishment of domestic accredited Certification House in accordance
with EU standards” demonstrated its full justification, during 4th International
certification Conference, especially when the Cooperation Agreement with ECOCERT
was signed (ECOCERT is one of leading European certification House for certification
of organic products).
Behind all of this is our team that includes 11 people working in 4 offices
on different locations in BIH: Banja Luka, Bratunac, Derventa and Lijevče Polje.
We can conclude that it was a grate chalenge to accomplish one decade of successful
work on development of RS/BIH, and enormous efforts are yet to be made,
many more things are yet to be done in order to justify everything that has been
done until now. We can say with absolute certainty that we will do mach more for
this country.
Of course that our main objective was to impact general development of RS/BIH,
so we all would have better future.
If we even partially succeeded in achieving our main goal, than we know that we
are on a right path and how to enter in second decade of our active work.
