On Monday, September the 10th 2007, during manifestation called “Days of husbandry and vegetable gardening”, 4 presentations were given by NGO Krajina – Business Incubator Banja Luka. Presentations were:

1. Presentation of Rule Book draft on labeling originality and geography origin labeling of the products – Food safety Agency BIH/ Dragan Brenjo;

2. Presentation of Rule Book proposal for food traditional reputation labels – Food safety Agency BIH/ Dragan Brenjo;

3. Revitalization of agricultural production of RS, through formatting 6 regional centers in RS for primary production, processing, certification and market placement – NGO Krajina / Prof.dr. Mile Dardić

4. Establishment of domestic accredited certification house, based on International standards for of certification of agricultural-food products – NGO Krajina/ M.A. Fuad Turalić;

Ukratko o predstavljenim projektima:

1. Revitalization of agricultural production of RS by formatting 6 regional centers in RS for primary production, processing, certification and market placement.

Basis of this project is formation and organizing of 6 regional centers for that will be used for organized production, processing and placement of wild and planted herbs, wild forestall fruits, spices, aromatic herbs, fruits and vegetables. The centers are located and functionally organized in whole are of RS. This induces revitalization of agriculture, creates the chain of primary agricultural production and establishes processing and final product placement. These centers will include 47 partner Municipalities. The centers are: Krajina/Potkozarje, Posavina-Ozren, Semberija-Majevica, Romanija, Herzegovina and region of Birač. They also include equipping two smaller Municipal centers.

2. Establishment of domestic accredited certification house, based on International standards for of certification of agricultural-food products – NGO Krajina/ M.A. Fuad Turalić;

While presenting our project, we used that opportunity to present our partners: Ministries, local authorities, our activities, four International Conferences about certification, International support to the project and its importance, visit to the BioFach (Organic product Fair in Nuremberg). Future period activities were presented, steps of agriculture development and its benefits, joint interests and direction of project development in future period. Also, we presented machines for future laboratory of certification house, as well as main characteristics of some machines.
