Same as last year, after successfully concluded Fair of Agriculture – AGROS 2008 held in Banja Luka, NGO Krajina together with its numerous partners participated on 7th International Fair of Agriculture – INTERAGRO 2008 held in Bijeljina. We had very difficult task to fulfill this year, because last year’s performance broth us “Champion’s Cup” and Certificate for Overall Fair Appearance. This is why we had to prove that last year’s recognition was duly earned.

On the surface of 150 square meters, on Interagro 2008, we used the same conception, method of performance, display method as on the Banja Luka Fair. The general performance was the same. First of all, we would like to point out that Municipality of Bijeljina together whit its Mayor, Mr. Mićo Mićić, was brilliant host and they supported our performance on the Fair as one of the Municipality Partners of NGO Krajina – Business Incubator Banja Luka. The Mayor himself visited our exhibition stand and used that opportunity to give his positive critic regarding our exhibitors and overall appearance. Also, we were honored by the visit of representatives from Ministry of Agriculture, Aquaculture and Forestry in Government of Republic of Srpska, representatives from Bijeljina Municipality and numerous domestic and International Organizations.

Regarding the Fair appearance itself, in Bijeljina we appeared together with: Institute for Agricultural Economics from Belgrade. The Institute presented their numerous publications, scientific studies, International results and many other achievements. Agricultural Faculty Novi Sad, Department for fruit growing, viticulture and landscape architecture also participated on this event with NGO Krajina. The Faculty was very interesting to the visitors with their specific presentation method, excellent vine collection and very interesting appearance in general. Third participant (as NGO Krajina’s Partner) was Institute for Truck Farming from Smederevska Palanka, Serbia. This Institute has many users on the area of Bijeljina Region, so the agricultural producers had the opportunity to see new offer, to establish contact with experts from the Institute and to be able to receive correct and relevant information regarding truck farming, which is very developed on these areas. All our Partner Municipalities which participated with us ob Banja Luka Fair, also participated on Bijeljina Fair as well.

We presented the City of Banja Luka on two ways: NGO Krajina as a partner on many projects with Banja Luka City Administration presented all its realized activities – as a result of this, for us, very important cooperation; we also presented the City through its agricultural producers, whose products turned out to be very interesting to the visitors on Bijeljina Fair. Our host, “Grad” Company used this opportunity to present the Letter of Gratitude to Banja Luka City Administration for its participation on Interagro 2008 Fair in Bijeljina and to present the Latter of Gratitude to the Municipality of Kozarska Dubica. In the spirit of long and successful cooperation and many jointly implemented projects, Municipality of Kozarska Dubica accompanied us on this Fair as well. They presented their Municipality, good practice in the field of agriculture, and their activities regarding development of agriculture.

Municipality of Pale also participated on the Fair and presented their development projects, recent realized activities and many examples how the Municipality improved its infrastructure, situation in rural sector. Municipality Gornje Petrinje presented itself like they did in Banja Luka, but we would like to point put the engagement of Mr. Mladen Vrećo witch coordinated the arrival of representatives from Municipality of Kozarska Dubica, their presentations, and he also presented and explained joint activities on creation of agricultural development strategy in Novo Goražde, which is currently being drawn up by NGO Krajina Business Incubator Banja Luka.

Grad Banja Luku smo predstavili na dva načina: naime NGO Krajina, kao partner Grada na brojnim projektima, prezentovala je sve do sada realizovane aktivnosti, kao rezultat ove nama izuzetno značajne saradnje; a takođe, Grad smo predstavili i kroz lokalne poljorivredno prehrambene proizvode, koji su i Bijeljini izazvali pažnju posjetilaca. Moramo istaći da je naš domaćin, preduzeće „Grad“ a.d. Bijeljina, ovom prilikom u okviru našeg nastupa uručio Zahvalnicu Gradu Banja Luka za učešće na Sajmu Inetragro 2008 i Opštini Kozarska Dubica, u duhu dugogodišnje dobre saradnje i brojnih projekata koje smo do sada realizovali, pratila nas je i na ovom Sajmu, kroz svoje predstavljanje, primjere dobre prakse, te izuzetne razvojne aktivnosti na polju poljoprivrede, koje Opština Kozarska Dubica ostvaruje već dugi niz godina.

Company “Kosanovic” from Martinci, Serbia, the Company which is applying the basic human resources management principle called :”adequate person on right position”, because the staff from “Kosanovic” slaughterhouse are very competent to complete their task and aware of relevancy and importance of their role in achieving goals set by the slaughterhouse “Kosanovic”. Also, “Kosanovic” Company was awarded with the Golden Medallion - Quality Champion, Healthy Food on the Interagro Fair 2008.

Company “BAG-DECO” with fallowing product assortment: Cooked dishes additions, dried vegetables, dried vegetables mix. Product assortment available to the open market is in fallowing concentrated packages: “BAG” cooked dished additions (packs of 500, 250 and 100 grams); “BAG” mixture of dried vegetables and spices for fish chowder (pack: 0,80 grams); “BAG” dried parsnip root (pack: 0,50 grams); “BAG” dried celery root (pack: 0,50 grams); “BAG” mixture of dried vegetables for salad (pack: 0,50 grams); “BAG” mixture of dried vegetables for chowder with soybean grains (pack: 0,50 grams).

Private Company “Cerubdzije” Surcin, Serbia This Company has a wide range own products, commercial-retail products, which are distributed to the final consumers through a network of wholesale and retail objects.

The management of Company “Grad” Bijeljina honored us with most popular and to us most treasured award which is: Golden Medallion for most visited exhibition stand on 7th International Fair of agriculture Interagro 2008, Bijeljina.

At the end we can conclude that based on our two years appearance on these Fairs, completely new approach in exhibition methods, we made one step forward in affirmation of agricultural production, cooperation of local Communities and producers, linking Institutions relevant for the field of agriculture and bringing them closer to the final users. Through all this NGO Krajina Business Incubator Banja Luka made a unique mark which is to be surpassed on future agricultural fairs in Republic of Srpska. Of course, all awards we received in past two years are of grate importance to us, and at the same time they represent a motivation to keep justifying those recognitions through our work and results.

We would like to specially express our gratitude to Ministry of civil affairs of BIH, Administrative Office of Banja Luka City, Bijeljina Municipality, Kozarska Dubica Municipality, Pale Municipality, Novo Gorazde Municipality and to all others who supported our efforts and our work during the Interagro 2008 Fair and in general.
